validity date department and plant..and syntetic keys vs link table

Hello friends,

in my infinite phase of study I encountered a new problem which however has practical repercussions in everyday models.

I structured a model as shown in the figure.

It is a classic and perfect star scheme. So far, everything perfect.

I wanted to complicate things:

I want to insert a start date and an end date for the departments and plants, imagining that departments and plants can be open and closed.
However, I would also like that, in the temporal set analysis phase or by applying the filters, the results would adapt to the validity date of the departments and plants.
I tried with the linktables but the result was not obtained.
