YTD would be count of sum of some measure from Jan1 to Apri19 (beginning of the year to latest available date)
Rolling is when you accumulate your data for each dimension value
for example if your chart dimension is Months
Then Jan would be total value for Jan
Feb would be JAn + FEb
Mar would be Jan+Feb+March and so on
