That seems quite odd, it isn't trying to do anything other than load the screen with the default list of data connectors. What have you tried to resolve this? I would recommend restarting your machine after installing Desktop. Does your machine have specifications that meet the minimum? Another thing you can try is to open a web browser and go to http://localhost:4848/hub and see if that loads Qlik Sense. Is there anything else you can tell us about your install?
