KML Map loading slow

Hi,

I have a dashboard which uses the KML map and it contains more than 8 layers in it. The problem is that it takes too long 

to load the map  because of the number of layers and data in it. The previous team had tried to  change the data model  from one to multiple fact tables  to improve the performance .But that does not seem to solve the problem. Could anyone suggest any other possible options?

Hi, I believe for map hardest task is to display very detail polygons with many data points. It depends on what you displaying from this KML, but maybe lowering detail of polygons (if you use such), in other words, making less points, could help improve performance. F.e. https://www.statsilk.com/maps/simplify-map-reducing-file-size-and-loading-time
