I have successfully created a map by zip code and can narrow the content by administrative area 1 (in my case State) and administrative area 2 (in my case County). I have hardcoded selections for these areas and when inputting one value everything looks great. Example:
How would I select multiple values: In this case, select each 'PA' and 'MD' in the Administrative area (Level 1) selection?
Thank you in advance
In the interim, I was successful by simply limiting my data to only the Zip Codes in the Counties of interest and removing Administrative Layer 2 from the Zip Code Area Layer.
Have you tried 'PA','MD' ??
maybe 'PA','MA'
I have tried separating the values by a comma (also"And", "Or", "+", "|", "&", ";") but then I get no categories mapped (just a blank map)
Can you provide the sample Geo Map file?
I am just using basic Qlik Sense map feature (no GeoAnalytics or separate KML files).
For example, County (loaded from Excel) will display zip codes perfectly one County at a time but not for multiple:
County |
Cumberland |
Dauphin |
Lebanon |
Perry |
I mean upload your XL file for Country.County and codes etc...
It really is a simple list of a few Counties
I have a data from SQL Server and presenting using an Area Layer with Zip Code.
Simplified SQL for Map. Show number of Patient Accounts by Zip Code.
[HSP_ACCOUNT]:
LOAD
[PAT_ID] AS [HSP_ACCOUNT.PAT_ID],
[PAT_ZIP],
[RECORD_CREATE_DATE]
SQL SELECT
"PAT_ID",
"PAT_ZIP",
"RECORD_CREATE_DATE"
FROM "Clarity"."dbo"."HSP_ACCOUNT";
Using Zip code for Map and hard coding US, PA, and Counties. I am going to filter my data to only show Zip Codes in the four counties of interest but still curious how to select multiple locations in the layer levels.
Sir,
The XL has only County values that too only 3. It doesn't have codes etc
Please attach the QVD for your transformed file?
With out complete data set I cannot create an example.
