QlikSense Upgrade: May 2021 to May 2022

Hi Team,

I am planning to upgarde Qliksense May 2021 version to May 2022 version. Can i upgrade it directly?

If yes, then can you please guide me through the installation steps. Also let me know the checks i need to keep while installing /upgarding Qliksense Enterprise Version.

Hi,

Yes, you can definitely upgrade direct to QS May 2022.

Please make sure before doing the upgrade, have a backup (for VM take a snapshot and for Physical, manually backup) so that we can easily rollback if any worse happen.

@Richard_T  While Upgrading to May 2022, first i need to install initial release setup and then latest patch available right?

Yes, correct. Need to install first the initial release (IR) and then you can update to the latest patch.

Also we are planning to move Repository DB to a seperate server.
