Hey guys,
I have observed in my environment that even in Idol Situation, Qliksense Engine Consuming RAM which is near about 43gb in my case,
No user Login, no one accessing Hub etc..
Does any one have any idea about it??
Regards
abhay
is there any task scheduled?
Qlik Sense probably does not free memory, but keeps it allocated for itself. This should be no problem unless you want to run other resource hungry software like a database management system on the same server (which is a bad idea anyway). If you feel more comfortable with lots of free ram on your server then restart the Qlik Sense services often or add more ram. You won't see any effect on performance though. It's just for your peace of mind. Qlik Sense will run fine regardless.
Nopes as i mentioned it is in Idle situation

This blog post The QlikView Cache by hic might help you understand why the ram is utilized even when you have no active users.
