Sm of two columns

Hi,

I have a problem i.e I want to create a column that has the sum of two columns of data that is loaded in the application.

The sample data is given here below:

This data is loaded in my Qlk Application. Here above is the semseter marks.

I want to create a table in the qlik dashboard that shows Yearly based marks means (First Year Marks= 1st Sem+ 2nd Sem, Second Year Marks = 3rd Sem+4th Sem)..

Does Anybody know how to do that how can I make a new column that sums the two column

Use the + operator to sum them?

LOAD

     Student_Code,

     Student_Name,

     [1st Sem],

     [2nd Sem],

     [1st Sem] + [2nd Sem] as [First Year Marks],

     ...etc
