Stacked bar and line chart able to filter

Hi All,

This is my scenario I want achieve:

• Use Qlik Sense
• Require Stacked bar with Line Chart
• Do not use each Class to be an expression as there will be new Class appearing
• Able to filter Year and Class for the dashboard

Eg. Click on Class A in Year 2012 on the chart, only Class A in 2012 highlighted on the chart and the table on the right should display only Sub_Class of Class A in 2012.

Current situation, it will only filter by Year 2012.

I understand combo chart only able to use 1 dimension. I am open to any extension or other method to achieve my scenario. I am new to Qlik Sense. I would appreciate a step by step guide. Kindly advice. Thank you in advance.

Hi,

This is not possible and to my knowledge also not with extensions. You can achieve the behavior you want just with a bar chart.

Dimension 1: Year

Dimension 2: Class

Measure: Sum( Gross )

But you will need a separate line chart for showing the profit.
