Hi all,
My legend labels are 3-4 words long and I need to wrap the text onto multiple lines. I have tried '&CHR(10&' and '&CHR(13)&' in my label formula and neither work. I've seen older posts about using options in the presentation>multiline setting, but that's not an option in my appearance tab. Is there a way to fix this problem? I just want
"Max State Program" on one line and "Set-Aside" on the other.
Thanks,
April
Not sure if it will render in all browser/scenarios, but you can put in a hard return in your label:
='Max State Program
Set-Aside
'
Thanks Steve, I tried that as well and it only creates an extra space, but the label is all still one line. Is there any other way to make the legend area larger and the chart size smaller? That might fix it too, but I haven't found any options to change the size of the actual chart.
Oh i missed it as chart label. What label are you talking about? Maybe you can do replace([fieldname],' ', chr(13))
It's a measurement label on a line chart. I'm not sure how to use your code. Where exactly do I put the desired label text?
@stevejoyce, I'm not sure if I'm using your code correctly. The label just appears blank in the legend when I input my field name into your code above.
As far as I know its not possible to wrap labels in the native qlik sense charts.
