We are performing an upgrade / migration of QlikSense from June 2019 -> February 2021

We have had QlikView at our location for several years and have recently started using QlikSense. Our current pilot environment is version June 2019 and we are being requested to upgrade to Feb 2021 on a new server. We installed the Feb 2021 version on the new server and now need to migrate / import everything we can from the old server. I was just looking for documentation, guidance, and insight on the most efficient / effective way to do so.

You might still find more efficient ways specific to your current setup, this a stable one.

Thank you very much for the insight, this should definitely be helpful! Given the limited number of apps / connections / users in the existing environment, I don't know if we will end up backing up the entire repository or not. If we were to try to import / export or migrate our existing apps, is there any concern about going from the June 2019 version -> February 2021? I know one the documents recommends moving apps from the same version to another, but in our case, we won't be able to perform an upgrade on the existing environment for some time due to external requirements and would like to stand up the new environment / server as soon as possible.

You can also do option 2 and upgrade the old server to February 2021 first, like this you are migrating again in the same version which is the best guarantee for success.
