Year Over Year Comparison of Date Range

All,

I have a table with sales data as well as the order dates and I need to have a Year over Year comparison of the same current date period last year...

Example:

Since today is 1/24/18, then I need to take the sum of sales for 2018 (1/1/18 to 1/24/2018) - the sum of sales from (1/1/17 to 1/24/17)

I prefer to use this calculation in a KPI but if it needs to be in a straight table or pivot table that is acceptable.

I know I can get the first part but not the same date range a year ago.  Please help if possible!
