automation of user access and licence management in Qliksense

Hello,

In a interview of Qlikview Admin I have been asked  certain question. The final question was given to me and here are these.

1. Can you or do you know any tool that can automate user access request. We have user access of 300 users daily and we don't want to waste time on manual entering users.

2. How can we automate deployment in Qliksense?  Everyday we are just copy and pasting many application and we want to save time on this

I need to answer this  by Monday. Any thought?

You can write rules to automatically assign licenses in QMC, e.g. based on an Active Directory group (or any number of other things).

Automatically un-assigning access is a little more tricky, see these threads:

As far as I know, you can't use standard Qlik licenses (Profession and Analyzer) if you need to change 300 users daily. Licenses are meant to be assigned to a single user. As such, there is a one-week quarantine period once you deallocate a license before it can be assigned to another user. It sounds like you're looking for something else entirely, perhaps login access passes as described here: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/June2019/Subsystems/ManagementConsole/Content/Sense_QMC/login-acce...

You can find additional information on how to create access rules on Qlik's help site:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/June2019/Subsystems/ManagementConsole/Content/Sense_QMC/create-use...

An example rule assigning a Professional token for every user in an Active Directory group that starts with the text "QlikSense" would look like this (in basic mode):
