How to configure the QlikView Directory Service Connector with LDAPS

QlikView allows for a connection to LDAPS.

To use LDAP over SSL (LDAPS), specify the path with LDAPS in the path parameter. Example: LDAPS://hostname

This will utilize the default LDAPS port: 636. 

Requirements:

1. The Directory Service Connector service account needs access to the correct root certificate in its certificate store. Please contact your Active Directory Administrator for more information.
2. Port 636 open for communication. 

Setup:

1. Open the QlikView Management Console
2. Select the Directory Service Connector you wish to configure
3. Select the LDAP connection you wish to configure or add a new one
4. Use LDAPS://hostname as Path. 
   Note that the path depends on the setup and may include the distinguished name. 
5. If the Domain Account running the Directory Service Connector does not have access, specify the correct user and password (otherwise leave it blank).
6. Click Apply

Hi. 

Currently we use LDAP and we need to use LDAPS instead. So I tried to configure LDAPS in our QlikView server according to this article.

After this change, users can connect to the access point as before, but when I try to add a document CAL to a new user on one of the documents, I see no user on the "manage users" window in QMC.

I can't search for new users, and I can't see the list of these who already got a CAL.

What could be the reason?
