How to extract the MSI package from QlikView exe installer

If the MSI package is required to install any QlikView product it needs to be extracted from the QlikView exe file. 

To extract the MSI package from any QlikView exe file do the following:

1. Start the installation from the QlikView exe file
2. Select the desired language and press OK. This will generate a matching MST file for the selected language.
3. Once the MSI is extracted, keep the installation program open and locate the extracted MSI file. 
   
   The .msi may be located in either:
   
   C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Temp\{GUID}
   
   C:\Users\ <User> \AppData\Local\QlikTech Installations\{GUID}​
   
   
4. Copy the MSI file and additional MST file to a location of your choice.
5. Exit the installation

I tried your instructions and found no files created in 

C:\Users\ <User> \AppData\Local\QlikTech Installations\{GUID}​

 did I missed something?

Hello @Tuan 

It may also be stored in C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Temp\{GUID}

Sort by creation date to locate it.
