Setting Azure AD authentication for Microsoft Azure SQL database target endpoint is supported from Replicate V7.x (V2020-11) or above. It can be set at the endpoint definition general tab under 'Authentication method'

Replicate V6.6 does not support setting Azure AD authentication for Azure SQL as part of the endpoint setting (it supports only Azure SQL authentication). However, it is possible to set it by setting the Additional ODBC Connection Properties (under the Advanced tab) to Authentication=ActiveDirectoryPassword . For additional details please refer to the following link:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/connect/odbc/using-azure-active-directory?view=sql-server-ver15

Environment

  • Qlik Replicate 6.6
  • Qlik Replicate 7.0 and above
