Qlik Cloud Analytics: Error code 5 returned when attempting to open an app

Opening an app in Qlik Cloud analytics fails with the following error:

An error occurred
Access is denied
Error code: 5

Resolution

Verify that the end user's USERID is included in the Section Access statement.

Cause

Typically, this error is related to permissions in conjunction with Section Access. The user attempting to open the app is not included in the Section Access statement.
