Qlik Replicate postgres source - ERROR: all replication slots are in use

I encountered the following error:

Creating replication slot 'postie_test_pk_00016394_5281ce4c_6304_2b4d_9a64_86e5f359f324' failed.
wal_slot_create(...) - Unable to create slot 'postie_test_pk_00016394_5281ce4c_6304_2b4d_9a64_86e5f359f324' (on execute(...) phase)
RetCode: SQL_ERROR SqlState: 53400 NativeError: 1 Message: ERROR: all replication slots are in use;
Error while executing the query
Failed (retcode -1) to execute statement: 'SELECT lsn FROM pg_create_logical_replication_slot('postie_test_pk_00016394_5281ce4c_6304_2b4d_9a64_86e5f359f324', 'test_decoding')'

Steps to investigate:

1. Check on postgres source if another process is using all of the replication slots. Please be advised these could be other Replicate task or business processes so proceed with caution.

2. Try increasing the max_replication_slots so Replicate can attempt to use another slot. This is a parameter set in postgresql.conf file. The default number of replication slots is 10. Once 10 slots are consumed, even if the slots are not actively in use, a new task cannot start. The task error is treated as recoverable and will cause the task to attempt to start indefinitely.

Once I freed up the slots (from #1 above), I was able to run the Replicate task.
