Qlik Replicate version 2025.11 cannot import task with tasks Names greater than 32 Characters

Importing a Qlik Replicate task with a name longer than 32 characters leads to the import failing with the following error:

SYS-E-HTTPFAIL, Failed to import task

Environment

• Qlik Replicate, version 2025.11

Resolution

Qlik Replicate has a task name limit of 32 characters, as documented in Qlik Replicate | Adding tasks. This validation can be overridden when importing a task starting with Qlik Replicate version 2025.11 SP04.

To override the validation, upgrade to 2025.11 SP04 or later and add the enforceTaskSettingsValidation feature flag:

1. Open the Qlik Replicate Console
2. Change to the Server settings using the drop-down arrow
   
   
   
3. Scroll down and open the More Options menu tab
   
   
   
   
4. Insert enforceTaskSettingsValidation (A) and click Add (B)
   
   
   
   
5. Set the value to Off
   
   
   
6. Save the settings. No restart of the services is required.

Qlik Replicate can now import tasks with names longer than 32 characters.
