While actively using a Qlik Sense document or when attempting to open the same document a second time, one of the following errors is displayed:

An error occurred

Resolution

For Error 16

First, refresh the browser by clicking its Refresh button. This will prompt error 1003.

For Error 1003

  1. Select Go To Hub
  2. Log off from the hub
  3. Log back in
  4. Navigate to the app and open it again

Cause

This is working as designed.

Error 16 is observed when a developer works on an app while an unaware colleague publishes the app to a stream as well as changes the existing load balancing rules and intended engine node.

Error 1003 is observed when a cached proxy session against an engine node is invalidated as a new load balancing rule does not allow the current engine to load the app.

Logging off invalidates the currently cached session.

Qlik is aware of these two scenarios and will review the session cache invalidation flow, however the current behavior remains working as designed.
