Environment

  • Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows May 2025 and earlier versions

Resolution

The issue is caused by SUPPORT-7049, which has been resolved in the following versions and any subsequent releases:

  • Qlik Sense November 2024 Patch 26
  • Qlik Sense May 2025 Patch 17
  • Qlik Sense November 2025 Patch 7

Upgrade to the latest available version and then manually reenable the Insight Advisor:

  1. Navigate to \Program Files\Qlik\Sense\ServiceDispatcher, and open services.conf in a text editor.
  2. Find the section [nl-app-search.parameters] and add the following parameter to its list:

    --preserve-iac-status=true

    --preserve-iac-status true.png

  3. Restart the Qlik Sense Service Dispatcher
