I have tried to open the application following  the steps described in the attached document:

"Option 1:  For a less technical approach, use the application called “Qlik Sense Plant Operations with Data Model”.  This application has a prebuilt data model so you can begin creating your application instantly.

..."

But unfortunately the app is empty when I open the application in Qlik Sense. And I can not see the data table as well.
