Adding a date selection (yesterday) to a report in automation

I want to add a selection to a sheet in automation (create a report). Qlik Application Automation 

If I add a selection for the date field and use lookup, this works.  In lookup i select a fixed date.

I want to selected yesterday as a date.  Today(1)-1 does not work.  How do I provide th ecorrect formula in the editor ?

 We're planning to add this functionality to the Date formula but there is no ETA for it as of now.
