Emmanuel Katto Dubai : What’s the best way to report a table that spans multiple pages in a PDF?

Hello everyone,

I’m Emmanuel Katto from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), working on a report in Qlik Cloud that includes long tables, which extend beyond a single page. While the report functions well overall, the tables are being cut off and not displaying all the data.

If anyone has experience with this or has found a solution to ensure the entire table is visible, I would really appreciate your suggestions!

Thanks in advance!

Regards

Emmanuel Katto

Hi,

I think you can loop across a dimension to reduce the dataset, create a page with the table reduced. I've done that for Qlik NPrinting before, I think it can be achieved with Reporting Service

In Qlik Cloud, I recommend the new Reporting functionality from inside your app. It works great for pixel-perfect multi-page PDF-Reports that can be customized in almost any aspect. It's much closer to N-Printing than using Reporting Service in Automation which is very limited.

We use the new reporting capabilities (design and generation of the PDF files, upload PDF to Sharepoint) in combination with QAA (generate custom HTML Email Body with our company logo, include the Sharepoint-sharing-URL and finally send E-Mail to a custom recipient list loaded from SQL database).
