Export to excel in Qlik-cli

Hi All,

Is it possible to download qlik visualization in excel format via Qlik-cli?

Qlik-CLI isn't build to interface directly with data. It is a tool to help you perform administrative tasks, i.e. You can use it to export and app, manage tasks etc.

You cannot use it to edit visualisations, or export data from inside an application.

Hey @Kaushiki , Would love to know more about your use case - what is the purpose of your data export?  Is it an operational report scenario of some flavour?  Is it for a downstream system?  Maybe you want to add your use case the Ideation form.

In general there is capability with the O365 XLS connectors to work with XLS documents and you can use the Qlik Cloud Service Connectors to connect to various application analytics.  Also worth mentioning that the Google Sheet connectors actually allow a fair amount of flexibility in moving straight table data to a spreadsheet.  

From a Qlik Reporting Service capability we will be looking at delivering formatted analytics to XLS output in the future.  Hope that all helps.
