Hi,
after upgrading to August 2023 patch 13 the monitoring apps are failing to run from the QMC the failure is related to the REST connectors,
when I'm running it from the work environment with the user that runs the services (domain\qlikview) it runs successfully, but when I try from the QMC it fails, it's running with the user "INTERNAL\sa_scheduler" I checked it using a variable and the OSUSER() function.
the error I'm getting is "Failed to connect to server. Please check connection parameters".
also, previously I could connect to those REST connectors (using custom property) from my work environment, but now I'm getting an error, this is the error I'm getting when trying to connect to the REST connectors with my own user "domain\ido.gr": "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"
I already deleted all the REST connectors and imported the default apps so the rest connectors are updated.
appreciate your assistance.
Thanks,
Ido.
Hi,
because I have a multi node environment I had to change the localhost to the server name in all the connection strings in the rest connectors, this solved the issue.
thanks

Hi,
Onwer of the REST connection for Monitoring apps should be the service account used by Qlik Sense. This one should have root admin rights. Can you try to update this (don't forget to put the right password too).
If you Qlik Sense if multi node, you must replace localhost by the FQDN of your Central Node. I like to perform it to single node Qlik Sense too.
Kind regards
