Qlik SaaS vs Qlik On-Prem

Hello Everyone,

I need to understand some common issues or negative impact of using Qlik SaaS over Qlik Client-managed version.

Need some ideas to identify the possible use cases of using Qlik SaaS.

Thanks,
Kavita

Hi @kavita25 ,

Answering to your question involves a series of factors that need to be considered. For example:

- Company compliance on data / assets location.

- Current and future business needs.

- Main use for data analytics.

I most scenarios, Qlik SaaS has a solution built up for your business needs, and also a lot of room for scalability.

Qlik Cloud (SaaS), however, has more capabilities on-the-fly for immediate use, like AutoML, Reporting Services, as well as the analytics user has more autonomy to create their own visualizations and reports, among other features.

Unless your company has very restricted compliance requirements, I'd definitely recommend going to SaaS.

Hi @kavita25,

I can't think about any negative impact.
@AnaSilva do you have anything to say about that?

Regards,

Mark Costa
