Hi, not that I know but in section access there is the option to limit the access to specific fields, and therefore masteritems using those fields can't work.
You can't really have security at the master item level because any user with Duplicate permissions would just be able to write their own formula and get the information even without access to the master item. Unless you block the underlying fields, you won't actually have security.
