Hi team,
we face below issue in qlik replicate
Task 'MyForms to Refining ASDW R5 V1' failed
Creating CDC Sub Task failed
No license for database 'MyFormsAZ-AWS-SQL' of type 'Microsoft Azure SQL (MS-CDC)'
could you explain?
Thanks,
Titus
Hi @Titus
The message means that the endpoint you are using is not included in your license file. Did this work before?
Please go to the Server page and click License, then check what is shown for Source Types & Target Types to check if the endpoints listed are what you expect. If not, please open a support case for our license team and/or contact your account manager for help.
Thanks,
Dana

Dear @Titus ,
The error message you’re seeing indicates that Qlik Replicate doesn’t have a valid license for the ‘Microsoft Azure SQL (MS-CDC)’ database type.
In Qlik Replicate, each source and target endpoint type (like ‘Microsoft Azure SQL (MS-CDC)’) requires a specific license. If a task tries to use an endpoint type that isn’t covered by the current license, it will fail with an error message like the one you’re seeing.
Here are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue:
1. Check your license: From the server settings in Qlik Replicate, go to the license section and check if ‘Microsoft Azure SQL (MS-CDC)’ is listed as part of the licensed source or target endpoints.
2. Contact Qlik Support: If ‘Microsoft Azure SQL (MS-CDC)’ is not listed in your license, you’ll need to contact Qlik Support or your Qlik sales representative. They can help you update your license to include 'Microsoft Azure SQL (MS-CDC)'.
3. Reapply your license: If ‘Microsoft Azure SQL (MS-CDC)’ is listed in your license but you’re still seeing this error, try reapplying your license in Qlik Replicate. There might have been an issue when the license was first applied.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other queries.
