GitOqlok (git time machine) is an easy-to-use tool for version control in Qlik Sense.
Git + Qlik Sense integration.

GitOqlok could retrieve your load script, serialize diagrams, master items, variables into JSON and store it in the GitHub/Gitlab/Bitbucket. So, you could revert to the previous versions of the application.

Also, you could easily share your Qlik Sense applications and code snippets with Qlik Community and your team.

Import and reuse objects from QS applications:
✔ sheets;
✔ variables;
✔ master items;

For instance, you could import Rob Wunderlich QlikViewComponents into any application by one click.

In version 1.9.55, we have exciting time-saver features for Qlik Sense Enterprise administrators and developers:

1. Security Rules Manager - the tool can export/ import security rules from one server to another and compare different versions of security rules with visual diff-viewer with rolling back feature.

2. ODAG link navigator - add a simple context menu with a direct link to the Template app just from the Selection app. So, you can forget about such an exhausting search for the correct Qlik application in QMC or Hub.

3. Publishing app to specific stream from Qlik application page without switching between browser tabs.

Register to the webinar where I explore how to use all of them - https://lnkd.in/esW6Z8Cm

It happens usually that you don't reveal the whole functionality spectrum of a tool you're using... It might be the case, so we're here to remind you of Gitoqlok Environment Migration feature!

The Environment Migration feature is an awesome resolution in a situation where you would want to make a backup of your QMC Qlik Objects. More generally, Migrator is aimed at the backup of a Qlik Object to a repository on a Git server of your choice.

There are two aiding options in this case: Export and Import.

Exporting allows one to specifically create a backup for the following Qlik objects: Custom Properties, Security Rules, Tags, Data Connections, Reload Tasks, Stream, Apps, Load balancing rules, and User Directories.

Importing, in turn, comes in handy when one is interested in restoring the Qlik Object from the said backup. The set of Qlik Objects subject to the Import function is the same as for the Export function.

Deploy and let us know about your experience!
