Getting to Know your Gold Client Engineers
Meet Lindsey Foster. Originally from Bradford, Pennsylvania, Lindsey has been living in Atlanta, Georgia for 22 years. She attended Georgia Southern University earning dual degrees in Information Systems (with an emphasis in SAP ERP) and German. She has been working with SAP for 10 years. Prior to joining the Gold Client team six years ago, she worked for Hewlett-Packard as an SAP Developer/Engineer.
Lindsey believes one of the most challenging aspects of SAP that must be managed in Gold Client are internal numbers. “Internal numbers used within SAP; when data is pulled from both a production system and then additional data with Internal Numbers are ALE’ed to the same system from elsewhere, we end up with duplicate records for the same data. This leads to data cleanup and making sure additional configuration is in place so the duplicated values are no longer present in systems using Gold Client."
Lindsey finds the best feature of Gold Client to be the ability to have automated refreshes of delta data in Gold Client target systems. She has traveled extensively for Gold Client implementations and projects, but two of her favorite places she visited are Sydney, Australia and Oslo, Norway.
Lindsey’s interests and hobbies include her dogs, Roscoe, Rufus, and Ladybird, cooking, reading, listening to music, paddle boarding, traveling, and DIY stuff around the house.
