Getting to Know your Gold Client Engineers

Meet Miguel Antunes. Originally from Portugal, Miguel lived in Dublin for ten years and recently moved back to Portugal with his family. He received his engineering degree in Coimbra, Portugal.

Miguel has over ten years of SAP experience. He began as an ABAP developer, and after he made the move to Dublin, he started working with functional modules. For the past six years, Miguel has worked with SAP software add-ons. Prior to joining Attunity and now Qlik, he was Deployment Lead at Meridian Global Services for a tax software add-on. This summer, he had his five-year anniversary working with Gold Client.

Miguel believes the best feature of Gold Client to be the data model. It can easily be adjusted to fit a customer’s needs. One of the most challenging issues he has worked on with Gold Client is SAP stock balance in non-production systems. “It’s really difficult, but we can do it!”

Miguel has traveled to many countries for Gold Client implementations and projects. His favorite places to visit are the Scandinavian countries with Oslo as his favorite city. He enjoys visiting those countries in the winter as well as summer.

Miguel interests outside of work are sports, especially European football, and photography.
