At the beginning of July 2021, Gold Client version 8.7.1 was released to customers. Key features included in the new release are:
Data Wave Re-Design
The old Data Wave that was available on the ZGOLD screen (but rarely used) is now completely redesigned. Its main purpose is the same: Automate building new and refreshing existing clients with little manual intervention. This includes Client Construct data types and scenarios created by Intelligent Slice and Data Snap. It can be executed on demand or scheduled on a periodic basis.
The new Data Wave is a more streamlined process and no additional Gold Client configuration is needed. Along with the export automation improvements, the import into the target system can also be automated as well as post-processing utilities (including the Number Range utility) that typically are executed manually.

Export Dashboard
The Export Dashboard has been updated for more clarity. The report is more concise and useful for each export job with improved report rows and status handling.
Subset Sync
Subset Sync functionality has been enhanced to support different field lengths between source and target systems. Additional export job logging has been added to simplify the process.
