Hi @JacobMilton,
You can find Qlik Gold Client documentation here. I will also move this thread from the Qlik Sense Back End forum to the Qlik Gold Client forum.

Hello Jacob,
Thank you for reaching out. Below, I will give you an overview of key changes and improvements. I will attach the release notes for everything after 8.5.1 that will be comprehensive of everything in each release.
8.5.2
- Export Dashboard utility designed to give more export status and history.
- Added support for copying RAW and STRING fields with Data Echo.
- SAP views are supported in Data Echo configuration for better query performance.
- Transformation Sync functionality supported when using Subset Sync to align scrambled data across systems.
- Added support for TIMESTAMP fields in Intelligent Slice and the Adjust Date Range utility.
- Setup Confirmation utility created to verify system readiness.
8.6.0
- Export and import engine code optimized for better performance.
- Number Range utility improved to avoid exception errors. Also handles if the number ranges contain invalid values.
- Improved logic for submitting any configured user exits.
- The Data Snap description entered is now populated in the job name. It can be changed if desired.
- Utility Stranded Files Cleanup redesigned for better performance.
- Restart Failed Jobs utility automatically triggers after an export completes to handle any canceled jobs.
8.6.1
- New utility for easy download/upload of Gold Client configuration with a JSON file.
- Data Snap validation is no longer required for the selection fields, only the export description.
- On screen Client Exporter, the default processing option is switched to Direct Export. On screen Client Importer, the default processing option is switched to Direct Input. This mirrors Gold Client best practices.
- For Client Importer Direct Input, a new option exists to optionally delete all table data from the tables collected in the export files before import.
- Delete Data will no longer trigger user exit functionality.
8.7.0
- Gold Client Configuration screen redesigned for better usability, more organization, and less clutter.
- New Data Exclusions functionality for Data Snap and Export Control. This allows excluding selected data types dynamically from an export. It does not change the Gold Client configuration but will allow the export at runtime to skip certain data types for faster runtimes.
- Sizing Report corrected to remove duplicate lines.
- Number Range utility execution now saved to a log viewable on the utility’s screen.
8.7.1
- Data Wave redesigned to allow better management of client refreshes. More automation and less manual effort. Export/import/post-processing all included in one scheduled process.
- Export Dashboard improved to remove duplicate entries.
- English text now displaying correctly on the ZGOLD screens for SAP logon languages: DA, DE, EN, ES, FI, FR, IT, NL, NO, PT, SL, SV.
- Improved Import Control display response time when showing files.
If you have any specific questions or issues around the upgrade, please open a case, and we can take a deeper look.
Thank you,
Erin Byrne
Thank you Chip for your quick response.
The documentation talks about the generic features of Gold Client.
Do you have something which is specific to the upgrade, like which is not there before in earlier versions but the Current version have that and any specific current known issue it addresses

Jacob

Hello Jacob,
Here is some information on each item you mentioned.
1. Export Dashboard utility designed to give more export status and history
For more information, please see Knowledge Base post:
2. Setup Confirmation utility created to verify system readiness
Menu path is ZGOLD – Configuration – Administration – Installation/Setup – Setup Confirmation.
The utility displays:
Example run:
3. Number Range utility improved to avoid exception errors.
BUFFER_OVERFLOW error fixed. NR utility will ignore number range objects with invalid values.
4. Number Range utility execution now saved to a log viewable on the utility’s screen.
The Number Range utility has a button called Execution Log that shows history for past executions. It includes the user, date/time, and what was executed.
5. Restart Failed Jobs utility automatically triggers after an export completes to handle any canceled jobs.
If any jobs for a given export fail, before the final job completes, it will trigger a new WORKER job to pick up where the failed job left off. This will trigger automatically so the Restart Failed Jobs utility does not need to be initiated manually. It will do this for both Client Construct and Data Echo exports.
6. Data Wave redesigned to allow better management of client refreshes.

Thanks a lot Erin . Much appreciate
