AD authentication for Microsoft SQL Server Endpoint

Hello everyone,

We would like to use authentication via Active Directory (Windows authentication) for our MSSQL endpoints. However, not as a service account user as described here:

Working with Windows authentication | Qlik Replicate Help

We do not have the possibility to define a specific AD user, as this option is not available, as can be seen in the screenshot.

Our Goal is it to use Windows authentication with serperate Users for different MSSQL endpoints on our Replicate server.

Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards,
Laurin

Hi @Laurin37 ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Qlik Community.

Please attempt to run the Replicate service using your AD account. For more details, refer to this link:

What are the user and privileges require to connect to a SQL server as source DB when using windows ...

Desmond

Hey @DesmondWOO ,

Thank you for your answer.

We are already familiar with the procedure you described. However, we do not want to define a global AD user on the server, but a single AD user for a specific MS SQL endpoint.

I hope you understand our problem, if not feel free to ask any question about it.

Best regards,
Laurin
