Activity in Qlik Replicate server

Hi , 

What are the steps we need to perform prepatching and postpatching in Qlik replicate server.

Hi Suvbin,

Thanks for posting in Qlik community.

We strongly recommended to 

1. Stop all the replicate task and instances before upgrading or patching the replicate 

2. back up the Replicate data directory

Hello @suvbin ,

You can check with your windows team, or you can check on windows system for the same.

To check whether Windows patching (i.e., Windows Updates) has been applied to your Windows computer or server, you can follow these steps:

  1. Check Windows Update Settings:

    • For Windows 10/11:

      • Click on the Start button.
      • Go to Settings (the gear icon).
      • In the Settings window, select Windows Update.
      • Click on View update history. This will display a list of recently installed updates.
    • For Windows Server:

      • Depending on the version of Windows Server, the steps may vary slightly. However, you can generally access Windows Update history through the Control Panel or Settings.
  2. View Installed Updates:

    • You can also view the list of installed updates and patches through the "Programs and Features" or "Add/Remove Programs" applet in the Control Panel. Here's how:

      • Open the Control Panel.
      • Select Programs and Features or Add/Remove Programs.
      • On the left-hand side, click on View installed updates. This will show you a list of installed updates.

Hello Team,

As per Tse suggest knowing the way how to know windows patching has done or not. however as per ITL process 

you must have got some Mail or notification from window admin team. prior and post the window patching. 

so that you are aware of any changes happens on the Host side and you can provide such information in case having some issue with QR functioning.
