Bidirectional task Db2 to RDS

Hi Team,

I am in the process of setting up a bidirectional replication task from Db2 (IBM DB2 for z/OS) to RDS (IBM DB2 for LUW) as per the documentation available here: Setting up Bi-Directional Replication.

I have created three tasks:

  1. Task 1: Full load from DB2 to RDS
  2. Task 2: Bidirectional replication from DB2 to RDS
  3. Task 3: Bidirectional replication from RDS to DB2

Here are the issues I am encountering:

  • Task 1: When performing the full load, it copies the schema but not the data. After applying a filter condition, it only loads a single row.

  • Task 3: The task is not running and displays the following error:

Please let me know if any additional information is required .

Hi,

In genreal if when performing the full load task only one row is loaded instead of all the table this means that you have a problem probably related to the task setting. In order to troubleshoot it and also further refer to the other issues you are facing , please open a case to support and add to the case the diagnostic  packages of all 3 tasks and the description of the problems so we can better understand the scenario and the settings.

Thanks & Regards,

Orit

Hi @kareem15 ,

The SQL30081N error may be related to TCP/IP v6. Please check with DBA or IBM engineer. I recommend creating a full load task from RDS to DB2 to ensure that the connection and permissions are correctly configured.

Regards,
Desmond

I beleive Qlik is not able to access RDS logs when RDS is source

below is the RDS db2diag.log error :

ZRC=0x860F000A=-2045837302=SQLO_FNEX "File not found."
DIA8411C A file "" could not be found.
