Can't find the Replicate Data storage resource when inserting dependency for QR Cluster Installation

Hi,

As part of the Qlik Replicate cluster installation, Step 3, says that we need to add 2 dependences to each Qlik Replicate service on the Replicate role within Cluster Manager. However, when we go to do this, the shared disk is not showing up as an option. Any pointers as to what's going on here and how to get it working properly?

Here are screenshots of what we're seeing for each service:

Help with this is appreciated. Thank you.

Regards,

Mohammed

Hi @MoeE

Yes the disk that holds the data directory needs to always be active on the node where the Qlik Replicate services are running. The services are dependent upon the disk being active/available before they can start.

Thanks,

Dana

Hi Mohammed,

It seems that issue is related to the windows cluster setting. Please open a SF case so we can assign it to PS team so they can allocate someone to work with you closely and help you with the settings.

Orit

Hi Orit,

Thanks for the response. This is part of step 3 of the documentation for installing Qlik Replicate in a Windows HA cluster. Would you happen to know whether or not the disk resource should be part of the same role that contains the Qlik Replicate services? From the documentation, I assume it should be but unfortunately it is not explicitly stated anywhere.

We already have the cluster up and running. Help with this is appreciated. Thank you.

Regards,

Mohammed
