Source Endpoint: Microsoft Azure SQL server(CDC)
I am trying to establish connection to SQL server via Active Directory Service Principal method. On first try the test connection was successful. When I retried it it failed.
This is the following error:
SYS-E-HTTPFAIL, Failed to connect.
SYS,GENERAL_EXCEPTION,Failed to connect,RetCode: SQL_ERROR SqlState: CE269 NativeError: 0 Message: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server][SQL Server]Error 12002 sending request to https://login.windows.net
Note: No firewall issues & Service Principal has been added to the sql database
The connection which is established is short lived. And if the connection is successfull, couldn't able to fetch the table list. It gives below error
A similar issue was reported before in our community, please check this post thread: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Replicate/Unable-to-fetch-the-list-of-table/td-p/2062444

Thanks for this article. At the same time the source endpoint disconnects intermittenly, and after sometime it connects successfully
Hello Team,
I suspect it Azure SQL is it on cloud. Request you to please check with Security /network team for Setups rules. as we have seen same issue when either of endpoint on cloud and sometime it is not able to get the response in a timely manner hence it disconnects occasionally.
