Hello
so far, we use Qlik Sense SAP Connector to load data from BAPIs and normal tables.
Does Qlik Replicate allow data loading from SAP BAPIs as well?
If not, what would be a valid alternative to load data from BAPIs into a modern cloud DWH?
thanks for you help
Hello,
Replicate can be used to access SAP using the following source endpoints:
Please refer to the user guide for a more information.
Thanks
Lyka
Hello
sure I know the docs. This information does not answer my specific question.
thanks
Tobias
Hello Tobias,
I don't know to what extent Replicate is able to do this, but one solution for this would be an SAP interface for Qlik. For example from Theobald Software.
Best regards,
Timo

Hmm, I only see a very generic question 'Does Qlik Replicate allow data loading from SAP BAPI" to which the answer is a very generic "yes"
As you surely read in the User Guide a slightly more specific answer is:
"Supported SAP packages
- Primarily SAP ERP / ECC 6.0 + all EhP levels
- All modules are supported except for HR
- Also supports CRM, SRM, GTS and MDG SAP Applications"
What is the specific question you are looking for to be answered in the Replicate context?
You may want to touch base with the Qlik Sales teams to see if Replicate is a good tool for your needs.
hth,
Hein.
The BAPI question is already quite technical and specific. To be more specific. Can we query&load data from SAP ECC using the BAPI interface, the same way we do for many years now with Qlik sense: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/connectors/Subsystems/SAP_Connectors_Help/Content/Connectors_SAP/Clients...
The docs you refer only state that SAP ECC and all modules is supported, this can mean many things.
Our goal would be to fully replace the Qlik Sense connector by using Qlik Replicate as single solution to get data out of SAP Tables, SAP BAPIS etc. Also, we do not want to use Theobald or any third party solution.
Thanks for your help on this.
Hi @pilswiss
Please check the following 2 links:
https://support.sap.com/en/product/connectors/jco.html
The above link mentions about Java connector and its support for BAPI and ABAP interface.
And the following link from Replicate user guide on how to setup Java connector:
I think with these 2 you should have a fair idea on how to make it work but if you still need more info then I would suggest to contact Qlik Account team or open a Support case.
Thank you,
