Hi,
We are starting to experience a strange issue while adding new tables to our task. This problem occurs when we attempt to access table settings.
f we only attempt to save and resume the task, the entire task fails. We have tested this option multiple times.
Has anyone else faced this issue?
I've extracted the error message as text to make it easier to search. I'll check our solution database and post again:
SYS-E-HTTPFAIL, Unsupported: design time metadata.java.lang.illegalArgumentException: No enum constant
com.qlik.sap.endpoints.odp.model.DbType.RSTR.
I don't see this listed in our solution database. What is the full version number of Qlik Replicate you are using so I can check release notes in later versions?
Thanks,
Dana
Could you please check the data type of all columns in the newly added table and if there is any data type which is not listed as per the user guide link below:
Based on the error message, data type could be on the table could be RSTR which is not supported.
Please check and confirm.
Hi @Dana_Baldwin We are using following version May 2023 (2023.5.0.322).

Hi @shashi_holla
This is the table definition, and all data types are present and supported by Qlik.

Thanks @toni_lajsner
There are no documented fixes related to this error. Please open a support case for this issue and attach a diagnostics package and the create table SQL statement for one of the newly added tables that triggers this issue. If more than one table was added at the time the issue started, we may need to see the table structure of all the new tables added at that time to see which one it is. Based on what Shashi shared one of them may have an unsupported data type in one of the columns.
Thanks,
Dana
I have received another picture from my collage and it seems that we have one more column with data type RawString , can it be that this is the one that creates the issue ?
//Toni
I'm not sure. "Raw" is listed as a supported data type. Please open a support case so we can look more thoroughly into this.
Thanks,
Dana
