Logstream Task using IBM DB2 for I-Series

Hello Team,

Is it possible to create one logstream task to pull tables from multiple JOURNALS? i.e. if i have 15 tables from one journal and 20 tables from another, can i create only one logstream to pull all those OR do i need to create one logstream task per JOURNAL?

Thanks,

Nabeel

That it correct each would have its own Endpoint defined for each Journal and Log Stream Staging Task. I would also make sure you have Log Stream Folder for each Log Stream Task and the directory is defined to its own local Drive on the Replicate Server.

Example: DB2i Source Journal 1

DB2i Source Journal 2

Thanks!

Bill

Thank you for the post to the QDI Forums. Since the DB2i Source Endpoint you define the Journal and Library the Tables are defined too you would have to setup for each Journal/Library on the DB2i Source Endpoint. Hope this helps.

Create DB2i Source

Define the Journal and Library as per the below screen shot:

Hi @Bill_Steinagle

Is that the same case for LOGSTREAM TASK? ONE LOGSTREAM TASK PER JOURNAL/LIBRARY?
