Microsoft Azure Event Hubs - Additional Feature/Support

I'd like to inquire a few things about additional feature/support for Microsoft Azure Event Hubs:

• Is there an intention to support this endpoint as a target on Linux?  Currently, this is one of the few Azure targets not supported on Linux.  We use an almost pure Linux environment for QDI.

• We prefer to use JSON data message formatting but we are running into capacity challenges because Azure Event Hub endpoints do not support compression methods like Apache Kafka endpoints do.  We'd like to be able to perform compression with this endpoint.  

Any roadmap information or planned implementation of these items would be helpful.
