NULL Values Missing in Oracle-to-Kafka Load

Hi Team,

While we are replicating data such as "JbnttyFrmt.TNmbCretr NULL 826GB001244450 NULL Task sr NULL"  from Oracle to Kafka is loading as "JbnttyFrmt.TNmbCretr826GB001244450Tasksr". Seems like the Nulls are getting omitted. Is it because of the limitation of Qlik ?

Please help

Thanks

Hi @Sreekanth_333

This is not a documented limitation. I am not sure of the root cause, but I would check to confirm if the table and column names can be used by Kafka per the documentation limitation:

Limitations and considerations #Limitations and considerations | Qlik Replicate Help

I also thought that maybe supplemental logging might not be available on the source, which is good to confirm, but may not be the reason as you're not getting the columns at all. If Supplemental logging is not enabled, you would get columns with NULLs where they were not expected which obviously is a different issue than what you are describing.

If this does not help, please consider opening a support case in the event we need to elevate it to our internal support team. We have no mechanism for doing that from a forum post.

Thanks,

Dana
