I have logstream tasks and an apply change tasks that work perfectly fine. I added a new column to a handful of Snowflake target tables. The columns have pre-existed in the SQL Server source tables for a long time so they're already picked up by the logstream task.
For some reason, the apply change tasks are not updating the newly added column. How do I resolve this? Do I need to stop and restart the apply change tasks? refresh the metadata? What's typical protocol in situations like this?
Did you set the task to replicate DDL changes? If you need further help in troublshooting the problem please open a case and attach to the case the task diagnostic package of both log stream parent task and log stream child task and add to it the task logs from the time you added the new column.
