Hey @DoubleG ,

We highly recommend customers have multiple environments such as DEV, TEST/QA, PROD for Qlik Replicate for the following reasons:

1. Lower environments allow you to test new task/ tables or new additions to task such as transformations, filters, etc without the risk of affecting production jobs.

2. When upgrading Replicate to the latest version or service pack, whether for a product enhancement or to fix an issue, you can test the upgrade on a lower environment first.

3. When working with Support on an issue, a lower test environment allows us to isolate and narrow down issues.

Multiple environments will improve overall quality and make life easier if issues or road blocks arise.

Best,

Kelly
