Hi

How does Windows UI replicate Server work when it automatically links with Active Directory? Does it use any specific protocol, or how does this linking?

Thanks

Qlik Replicate integrates with Active Directory (AD) through the Windows-based Qlik Replicate UI services. The integration relies on Windows authentication mechanisms, which implicitly configure AD user access. Here's how it works:

Windows Authentication & AD Integration

  • When you install the Qlik Replicate UI services on a Windows machine, it automatically integrates with the Windows security model.
  • The UI services use Kerberos or NTLM authentication to authenticate users against Active Directory.
  • This allows AD-managed users to log in without needing additional configuration on the Linux Qlik Replicate server.

Hi @OritA

Qlik Replicate can add users that are already managed by Active Directory,
but the question is how Qlik Replicate are integrated with Active Directory,
since the installation process implicitly makes this configuration, maybe used some protocol, service, other ?

Thanks
