Hello Support,
Currently we are using multiple Qlik Products like Replicate, Enterprise Manager, Compose etc. All the services running on our internal domain.local. We are trying to put the server behind our load balancers to make our servers secure. But the caveat is our Load balancer only secures domain.com . When we try to direct our replicate service url to "domain.com" by default it is re-directing to "domain.local" which in return showing up as unsecure connection.
Is there a way to stop this re-direct ?
Thank you,
Raghu.
Not my area of expertise, but I suspect you can probably resolve this by editing <replicate-data-folder>\ServiceConfiguration.xml and possibly <replicate-data-folder>\ServersConfiguration.xml.
Put in that domain.com address to listen on in the services and stop and (re) start Replicate and UI server.
hth,
Hein.

notes after editing the serviceconfiguration.xml, you would need to restart Replicate server and UI server.
Thank you for the response, Will try it.

Steve,
I tried changing "ServiceConfiguration.xml" file with domain.com in place of domain.local
Restarted Replicate and UI server. but no luck. It says "DNS address could not be found"
do I need to update anything in "ServersConfiguration.xml" file as well ? Or am I missing anything !
Thank you,
Raghu.
checking , on edit of the serviceconfiguration.xml, you would need to restart the Server and UI service .
- also your domain.com need to be resolve from your DNS.
I am able to nslookup "domain.com" - It is resolving fine.
Tried telent "domain.com" 443 - it is working good as well.
But when i update serviceconfiguration.xml with replacing domain.local to domain.com and restart Replicate server and replicate UI service. It bombs.
Below is my serviceconfiguration.xml setting :
<ServiceConfiguration url="https://DOMAIN.com:443/attunityreplicate;http://DOMAIN.com:80/attunityreplicate" allowUnsafeProtocols="false" />
what do you mean by "restart Replicate server and replicate UI service. It bombs. " ?
could you provide the repuictl log , under the ~\replicate\data\logs for review ?
