SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud(HEC) source support
Hi, All
We have a prospect who wants to replicate data from SAP HANA Enterprise Colud(HEC) to Azure Synapse.
Does QR support SAP HEC as a source endpoint?
Best Regards,
Keishi Miyachi

Hi After checking the support matrix in the user guide and online help I do not see SAP HANA listed as a supported source endpoint.
Thanks,
Michael

Hi @kmiyachi ,From the perspective of support, we are not conducting POCs for this scenario. The SAP HANA driver is supported for SAP HANA cloud, and we use it in the backend driver for Qlik Replicate product.
In replicate we don't have that option to select manually, you can try.
If it is not working please open a idea in Qlik ideation portal

Greetings @SankarReddyK , @Michael_Litz !
We have a similar situation to what @kmiyachi asked in the posting above, but it has to do with access to SAP HEC from QSE SaaS (not from Replicate).
In the traditional QVE/QSE SAP Connector for NetWeaver, we had to install transports in SAP in order to be able to communicate with SAP, but it is not clear to me how would we do this with instances in HEC. Furthermore, the connector provides access to several means of extracting data from SAP, including SAP Reports (not just access to the data base).
If we take a look at the types of connections available from the QSE SaaS connections option, it seems that we don't have the option of pulling data from SAP Reports using QSE SaaS:
How can we access data from SAP Reports from SAP S4/HANA instances hosted in HEC?
Please advise.
Cheers,
++José
