SAP note 3255746, change in terms and conditions

Hello, 

Recently SAP has announced change in their Terms & Co which does not permit (although no hard stop yet) SAP connection type: ODP through RFC. 

Are there any plans for upgrades of SAP connector ?  Or it is already using different connection type and therefore its "future-proof" ?

Hello thank you for your post to the QDI Forums. For the SAP ODP Source Endpoint regardless of the SAP Note this is something that Qlik Replicate will continue to support with the product. If you are working with this Source Endpoint and run into an issue please share a Support case with the Diagnostic Package to work with us in Support. 

Also keep in mind when using this Endpoint Replicate uses the ODP API call to connect and communitcate with the SAP ODP Server so if there are any issues we also require the output from the ODQMON transaction from SAP and job log. Hope this helps and confirms this post.
